Course Registration Fees
Across all funding categories, students are required to pay a one-time tools & registration fee ($100) for a full course sign-up. For WSQ Course individual unit sign-ups, a registration fee of $20 is chargeable per unit.
Tools will be on loan for individual sign-ups.
Course Fee Funding
You will be eligible for funding if:

You are a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident;

You are aged 21 years and above*;
-
You are attending a SSG-supported certifiable course on nett fee payment mode
-
You have achieved at least 75% attendance; and
-
You have sat for and passed the examinations/ assessments
You will be advised on the amount of course fee funding and the nett fee which you will have to pay. This is dependent on your eligibility and the course selected.
Grants and funding do not apply to all JFAS courses.
All Singaporeans aged 25 and above may also use their $500 SkillsFuture Credit from the government to pay for approved skills-related courses Visit the SkillsFuture Credit website (www.skillsfuture.sg/credit) to choose from the courses available on the Training Exchange course directory.
SKILLSFUTURE FUNDING GRANT (50%)
By 1 Jan 2022, all Singaporeans/PRs aged 21 years old and above will receive subsidies of up to 50% of course fees, capped at $17 per hour for WSQ Courses at June Floral Art School.

MID-CAREER ENHANCED SUBSIDY (MCES)
By 1 Jan 2022, all Singaporeans aged 40 years old and above will be eligible for MCES, receiving subsidies of up to 70% of course fees, capped at $25 per hour for WSQ Courses at June Floral Art School.

SkillsFuture Credit
Singaporeans aged 25 and above will be eligible for an initial credit of $500 in their SkillsFuture Credit accounts upon receiving their account activation letter.
The credits can be used to pay for or offset the course fees for WSQ Courses at June Floral Art School. They can also be used on top of existing course fee grants.
Use of this credit is limited to self-sponsored Singaporean applicants. All applications must be submitted via the SkillsFuture Portal using SingPass, and must be done 30 days before commencement of the course.

Post-Secondary
Education Account
(PSEA)
Initiated by the government to encourage completion of one’s studies beyond secondary school, the Post-Secondary Education (PSE) Scheme allows Singaporeans additional support in funding for further studies. An account is automatically opened for all Singaporeans by the Ministry of Education.
If a Singaporean is eligible for a Child Development Account (CDA) and has unspent balance in his CDA, a PSEA will be opened for him/her:

In the year he/she turns 7 years old for a child born between 2001 and 2005

In the year he/she turns 13 years old for a child born in or after 2006.
WSQ Course applicants at June Floral Art School may use their own, or their siblings’ PSEA funds to pay for approved fees. Current account balances can be checked using the MOE Autophone service at +65 6260 0777 with your NRIC number.

Awards and Allowances
Training Commitment Award (TCA)
SkillsFuture Qualification Award
Under the Workfare Skills Support Scheme (as of 2 July 2020), the Training Commitment Award (TCA) will be automatically awarded to eligible individuals upon achieving any of the following below:

Individuals will receive $100 for every 2 Statements of Attainment completed. (capped at $200 per WSS eligibility year)

For full WSQ Qualifications attained, individuals may receive up to the following:
1st Full Qualification: $500
2nd Full Qualification: $300
A total cap of $1,000 will apply to these awards within the WSS validity period.
Payment details will be included in the Workfare letter (together with information on the Workfare Income Supplement (WIS), if any).
This award encourages workers to attain full WSQ qualifications, which equips them with a comprehensive and robust set of skills to perform their jobs competently, pursue career progression and explore new job opportunities.
Individuals eligible for the award must possess the following:

Singapore Citizens who have attain a WSQ Diploma, WSQ Specialist Diploma, WSQ Graduate Certificate or WSQ Graduate Diploma will be eligible for a cash award of S$1,000.

Those who attain a WSQ Certificate, WSQ Higher Certificate or WSQ Advanced Certificate are eligible for a cash award of S$200.
